    Logitech MX500

Right, I bought one of these a few weeks back, and I love the mouse, but the software kind of sucks.

Anyway, I noticed that pointer acceleration was sometimes not being used depending on which window had focus on my desktop! Fiddling with the options in mouseware I found that disabling "disable acceleration in games" was causing it. Unchecking this box solved the problem. Has anyone else noticed this? How does mouseware know whether something is a game or not, because it is obviously not very good at it!

Secondly, does anyone know how I can verify what resolution is in the drivers? I've been looking at the XP hardware properties but cant find a sample rate or anything similar...
