Locked Amd Update?

Wondering if we could pool our knowledge again guys to share our experiences with locked 2500xp's, I'd prefer if people posted their own experiences or at least from people they know in real life.

I'd like to get a concensus on how widespread this is gone, i've not heard of 2800xp or 3000xp barton's being locked yet, do we have anyone with a week 40 or above one of these chips, with this issue?

some shops still have plenty of pre-week 40 2800+'s left if you dont mind paying the extra for one.. dont know if post-week 40's are locked for 2800+s but i think they probably are
is there still no way to unlock the 2500+s?

Ive got a week 40 and its locked, but still easily does 2.2GHz... how much higher do they go if theyre the pre week 40 unlocked ones?

Exactly the same most likely. The only thing locking the chip does is it stops you from being able to change the Multiplier. You just have you do it all via the FSB instead.
