I will post pictures later on today, but straight away let me say this is the best mouse ever!
It is sooo comfortable (I also have the intellimouse explorer 3.0) and super responsive, although i think the performance is about the same as the copperhead. I haven't used it properly yet, but i'll post my mini review along with the pictures later...
Stock is very scarce it seems but i got mine off eBay, some guy has about 12 more as well...

I don't like the fact it's wired, I've had a wirless desktop for over a year now and I really don't want to go back to wired though I am considering the Eclipse 2. I like being able to just throw my keyboard and mouse on my bed and have my whole desk just for my work.
Lee` wireless performance is dir for gaming, what are you actually talking about magneticman i cant decipher your post, you just got a new intelli 3.0? or a razer? both?
If you got the new itelli 3.0 i wouldnt mind know how it performs compared to the old one, is it optical or laser? in low sensitivity does the mouse lag/jerk under high speed flick shots, whats the new material feel like?
Excellent, shall be looking foward to seeing pictures, how would you compare it to other microsoft mice? (does it still encompass the kind of bulky feel microsoft mice seem to have?)
xrob, I know the wireless mice are classically bad for gaming but I've not had any problems with my MX1000 for gaming so far, but nowadays I don't play many games at all on my PC, I find the 360 alot better for games.
Lee/ xrob althought tradtionally wireless mice have been aweful for gaming, recently bluetooth mice and other wireless mice are acctually pretty responsive to games. Wired is better if you game 24/7 but wireless mice are not aweful for gaming (given that you buy a decent model)
I still go for a wired one, no problem for me as I never move from the table anyway. And wireless sucks when the battery die half way through the game

Yeah, it's pretty annoying when the battery dies (it usually last about a week or 2) but it forces me to do work or pay attention to the gf :/
Doesnt help much if it was in the middle of a fragging session

Sorry for not being clear, i got the Habu.
R0x, it is very sturdy, the top material is matte-like with the sides smooth and the glowpipe is a grippy material. I'm not sure what you mean by bulky but my old ie3.0 was quite light, and this is a bit more weightier but still light i'd say.
The mouse looks a lot like the IE3.0 in shape so i guess this wouldn't be great for left-handed people, but it is very comfortalble. One thing I really like is that it fills your hand at the rear, I kind of had to hold the 3.0 with my fingers, but with the Habu i feel im using it all, I might dare say this is even more comfortable than the explorer 3.0!
I haven't recieved my mousemat yet but it glides on my desk and even comes with spare 'feet'.
The side has a detachable panel so you can choose what button layout you want, whichever is comfortable for you hand size i guess, however the problem i foud was that the second panel had a button that required a big press to get it to work, but i think this could be just mine and not in general.
The gaming performace is excellent in my opinion, but i have only played with HL2 and CSS, but i do honestly think i got better lol.
Now the only bad part - Drivers. Despite trying a lot of different things, the razer config will not recognise the mouse and says 'cannot find mouse connected please reset, blah blah..." This was really annoying, as this then also prevents me updating the firmware that has become available from razer's site. But i am going to give them the benefit of the doubt because under the mouse it says, 'Manufactured: October 2006', so it's quite new, and hope razer fix this.
*the mouse will still work as Xp will install HCI drivers, however this could also be the problem lol. Anyone help?
Overall if I had to score it, I would defitely give a 5/5, but as the driver probems exist (at least for me) i'm giving it 4.5/5. Awesome.

seriously what is the point those LED's all the way around the mouse, its not cool, its not helpfull in anyway. infact its more of an annoyance than anything.
is it laser or optical?

the LED area does sort of have a purpose, all the way along the material is grippy, but in the end I guess it is gimmicky, that's the gamers market for you!
It is laser, and upto 2000dpi but you can choose on the spot with the 2 buttons underneath the scroll wheel.
It's so pretty, shame im not gaming any more

It's horrible, it looks so tacky! The lights are just retarded, there is absolutly no need for them. Why can't they just develop a mouse which is aesthetically pleasing, high grade materials. Its not much to ask...

we all have our own opinions, like i think this is the best looking mouse, obviosuly im going to be a bit biased but in real life it looks awesome,
