Going to see my folks for Christmas, and I'm contemplating taking over my SN41G2 so I can carry on playing my online game while they're at work.
Not checked round the back of the thing for ages, but is there a 115/230 switch on the PSU that I need to play with to get this to work on their power system?
Or can I just plug it in & go?
Or do I need an external transformer of some kind?

apparently the shuttle psus are autoswitching so there is no switch and it should work straight off - but would be worth checking this - although worst that can happen is it don't power up (being lower voltage and all over there)
Ta, I figured it would be the case, and I didn't recall seeing any manual switch inside or out, but I wanted to check beforehand

Actually, that reminds me of this time I had a couple of ESDI hard drives, and one of them started making popping noises and it sounded almost exactly like someone was playing Space Invaders
Then it started smoking, and that gave it away
Great things they were - bigger than a house brick (just as heavy) and a whopping 330Mb of storage!
(This is back when we sold a second-hand 286 system with an EGA monitor for like 750 quid LOL.)
