ok the mistel aka absolutly h00ge flying bomb can not be used in df but can be used in coop so does any 1 fancy making a mission where we can all fly mistels?

Ermmm cant seem to find it got FW190 (Mistral) but no JU88 under or got JU88 Mistral with no 190 on top????

Creating a mission with a Mistel is easy: just create two waypoints for the Ju-88 (Mistel), then place waypoints for the FW-190A-8 (Mistel). With the FW-190 selected, go to the Waypoint tab of the Object window, click the Set button and click on the Mistel. This will link the two in the beginning of the mission.
NOTE: You can set the first waypoint of the pair to be Take-Off, but AI flown Mistels will not be able to take-off.
I'll have a go with it once I get in tonite.. sounds like fun...

no one said anything about ai mistels ,we are talking player controlled mistels which as far as i know is possible in coop
True - just letting you know in case you go down that route
workin on it now....
can't get the things to be connected at take off.. despite what the instructions say..
.. but have managed to get a couple of them set up as an airstart - coming in with fighter escort .. now just gotta set up a whole rack of juicy ground targets.. or an area of ground destruction.. and some opposition.. then it'll be another one for the pack

I've been having several goes at this in the single player
To hit the target:
Throttle 0% when in dive. Start at 1000ish and dive at roughly 45degrees. Keep speed low, lower the better. I go for 200-230 at point of release. I wait until I am less than 1k away from target before releasing and I aim BELOW the target!! It will slowly pull up as it speeds up in the dive (after release), so with a bit of praccy you'll be able to suss where you need to aim, I normally gor for 1 or two notches on the gun sight.
The other important thing to remember is to pull away from the bloomin thing at release, else you go bang with it in a nice fireworks display :<
And get the hell away from the target too.. this thing goes off like the 5000lb bomb, if not more powerful.
