Re: Visitor in our Hangar
I wouldn't have asked for the tail number if it wasn't pretty unique (the aircraft; not the number itself!). ;)
Re: Visitor in our Hangar
I'll have a go
Peter Vacher's Hawker Hurricane Mk1 , R4118.

Re: Visitor in our Hangar
I can vividly remember being at my grandmother's house as a youngster and hearing an almighty droning noise from outside. I ran out and saw a Spitfire and Hurricane flanking a Lancaster as they flew towards a nearby airshow.
It gave me the shivers then and still does whenever I think about it. :)
Re: Visitor in our Hangar

Re: Visitor in our Hangar

They went past our office for the Jubilee celebrations, prompting our german colleague to do a quite amusing "Oh No! Not again!" duck'n'cover routine.

Well, it was best place to get a side-on view of it. There was too much crap in the way on the other side.
