    The joystick question.

Ok, in the old forums it was asked a lot, so it will be again in this one.

So how about you all send me a BRIEF review of your joystick, say no more than 200 words? I'll turn it into a sticky for peeps to see when they want to.

    Lever throttle
    Shift function
    Full programmability via SGE
Totally adjustable for left- and right-handers
    Single-spring mechanism

Brilliant stick, when i took it out of the box i looked at it and went "wtf is that" 10 minutes of adjustments later and it was PERFECT fitted my hand beautifully.

Its obscenely adjustable, quite responsive in il-2 and fb, my only problem is with the throttle, the last 1% you have to push for for some reason, may just be my stick.

Nice customisable buttons and enough for what i wanted from it padlock enemy, gear , boost wep and the all important bail out.

Its lack of force feedback may be an issue for some, but i find it better as ffb can be distracting in some games imo. Its also quite durable, its been in several meeting with the floor and works perfectly afterwards (i don't advise testing this feature though )

In conclusion lovely stick, would reccomend to anyone who doesn't want force feedback and is on a bit of a budget. the best and only £29.99 i've ever spent in p.c world .

Build Quality: Exceptional for the £30
Twist Grip is accurate, easily customisable, comfortable. Lovely Trigger Buttons, OK Hat Switch.

BUT...the throttle would be better at the BACK under your thumb, like a Microsoft , and the button that ARE on the base are all SMOOTH, which makes it intensely hard to find them without looking down. I am very very close to SUPERGLUING small raised projections onto each button.

Otherwise....accurate joystick. Quite "soft" in comparison with other though.

    Good joystick for the dough

Think it may be the way you calibrated it Knox, cos I had that problem at one stage and a re-calibration fixed it. 'Tis a very good stick for the money though.
