Just thought Id share a video trying out sniping on a few rounds on softcore TDM the other night on my newly upgraded PC from Scan (Intel i7 2600k, Nvidia GTX570, 16GB ram). The extra FPS makes it a lot nicer to play!

Music wont be everyones cup of tea, but hopefully its still watchable lol.

Yeh the reduced damage and extra sway of the rifles makes it a lot harder now! Though I like the extra challenge of having to go for headshots to ensure a kill

The semi-auto sniper rifles should be in the assault class IMO, they're not sniper rifles!

Very nice. I've only just started enjoying using the L96, getting to grips using it in CQB, actually ending in the top half of the leaderboard is nice

@Jace007: Yeh Ive been trying out the SKS lately! Takes a bit of getting used to but that thing is crazy!
@StealMySoda1: Cheers. Yeh the marksman bonus is a good idea. Means snipers still have a decent chance of making it to the top of the scoreboard.
@MaddAussie: I played more like a proper sniper in BF2, but dont have the patience to wait ages for the perfect long distance shot! I appreciate the skill it must take though. Got any vids mate?

This is impressive sniping. I am really bad at sniping in BF3, but in BC2 I was almost god-like, I don't know how I got so bad in my small transition.

@Jace: Yeh the M98B is still my favourite. Not really sure why but just "feels" the best to me

@IronSights: Yeh Sgt.Enigma is a legend! Doesnt seem to have been playing much lately. He actually knew who I was from BF2 before Id heard of him heh

@Deadeth: Yup BF3 is a lot harder now you need to get headshots to ensure kills. A lot of amazing snipers in BC2 havent really seemed to be able to make the transition over sadly.
