    thank god for that...I was really worried that the largest single seat propellor powered fighter plane ever made MIGHT have been part of Hexus Pink Handbag day.

    nope...a P47 is the biggest single engined prop fighter plane..I am sure of it..a bloke at Duxford said so on the tannoy to 6000 people

    in FACT he said that the Spitfire pilots thought that in a P47 if you got shot at, you unbuckled your harness, and ran around IN the cockpit to avoid the bullets
