    Re: Elder Scrolls Online

As much as I love ES, this just doesn't appeal, the leaked stuff I've seen makes it look like Rift or any other generic fantasy MMO.

I'd have much preferred a Fallout MMO

    Re: Elder Scrolls Online

I'm not interested in MMO's due to monthly subscriptions and dealing with other people. I play games to be in a fantasy world for a reason! Perhaps if they made it free to play at some point in many years time, I'd give it a try.

I completely agree. The other thing that kills MMOs is the stats/equipment whoring -- I want to go at my own pace, and am proud to be noobish as you have the most fun as a noob.

This guy appears to have some more details:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3GTh...eature=related

I think for me it'll all depend on how the end game PvE content turns out (hopefully it doesn't end up being a mostly PvP oriented game), and how much time I will have to spare for this when it's released. Definitely excited about this, hopefully they can pull it off and create a great game.

I'm the opposite to this I love the competition and teamwork involved in the high end raiding, and when I no longer had the time to maintain this I ended up quitting WoW because it wasn't the same.

The non-instanced dungeons doesn't seem like a good idea at first, but I'm reserving judgement until we get more details.
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

    Re: Elder Scrolls Online

The trailer vid looks awesome, even if it has no game-play footage, just guys in costume or do my eyes deceive me. Hoping it would have similar graphics to skyrim but it don't Still going to buy it though. For some reason i agree with @Kaged but im hoping this game is still in development and has some changes

If they design it around an Asian mmo template then I'm in, if we get another carebear Western aimed mmo then you can count me out.

Totally agree, I loved Oblivion and Skyrim is very good, still hasn't hooked me the way Oblivion did but think I need to put in more time. The thought of doing a ton of go there, fetch that and kill 10 of these quests just doesn't work for me. This might have been great if it came out 3 or 4 years ago but now it sounds dated. Will keep an open mind though as may be surprised, you never know.

Would this be an FPS style still or would it be top down?

If it's FPS MMO, then I will love to play this.
