So, it's a standalone product, but if you have IL2:FB does it 'addon' like The Aces?

Fly a variety of WWII fighters and bombers. Fly for the U.S., Japan, Great Britain, and Australia in famous fighters including the F6F Hellcat, the deadly Japanese Zero, and the UK's Supermarine Seafire.
    Apparantly.

Looks and sounds great, can't wait

I'd prefer to fly as Japanese, they apparantly had "some of the best pilots" of WWII.

Hope they put in the Great Marinas Turkey Shoot, would be great to go Zero hunting in a p38

Carriers are gonna be amazing tho...

Although I have a penchant for the Axis, I'll be flying mostly Allied in PF, there definately looks like enough in this to arouse my attention again

To begin with, they had some very good pilots, especially in the Zero which enjoyed absolute dominance in the early days, then the Yanks learned not to try to turn with them, and the tables very quickly turned

Wouldn't mind a good flight in a Zero though, would be fun

The Zero pilot has literally no protection and is highly exposed. This also helped the Navy pilots in their Hell's, Tiger's and later Bear's. Is the Bearcat modelled in PF?

I'm holding out hope that the AI model is improved or at least tweeked in PF, If I never see those stupid bl00dy magical decelerating barrell-rolls the instant you place your gunsight on their 6 again I'll be a happy man.

Also I DON'T expect a Zero to follow me in a power dive, they can out-turn me till the cows come home but if if I can't dive away from Zeros and watch their controls freeze up if they try to follow me then this won't be an accurate representation of the Pacific Air war.

Looking forward to the big maps though
