You love the game? A passing fad.. or something you could really get into...? one hell of a learning curve, which is steep as hell at first.. then just carries on climbing.

You want to be taken under a wing until your skills shine? Am looking for a couple of new recruits for the start of the Winter nights Marlin Squadron VEF sessions coming soon...

It'll involve voice comms and flying as a member of a team.. some training missions, dogfights, reconnaisance, cooperative missions against AI, with AI and other real people. Then into the squad vs squad stuff.. fighting a dynamic online campaign.. points, medals, promotions etc.

A difference in flying as a team... you get extra pairs of eyes and a few more sets of guns around you, yet your priorities may change.

Am looking for enthusiasm over ability.. and the right sort of person to fit in with the squad and help maintain our good name

Well i think i could definatly get into the game as its amazing. Sometimes i find it boring when i fly for half hr and dont see an enemy but i guess we all do! )

I'm in a clan with CS:S and RVS so voice coms and stuff would be hard as i have matches and that would probably come first.

However it isnt a fad i dont think, because its such a break from feet on ground shooting/frags/flashbangs its even better.

So about the clan/team kind of thing with voice coms it would be hard but it would definatly be cool to play with you and others online and get learning and get to reasonably level so i love it even more!

yeh cs:s is my main game which im getting rdy to war in, but for IL2 i want to get good in it and have fun!

why no voice comms? would have thought it'd be ok.... all you need is Teamspeak and a mic - we'll sort the rest out

plus... you'd only need it while IL2 was running... why would cs/rvs matches affect that??

We only use a separate voice comms package because the one that comes as part of game isnt as good as the one CS has

Just i am always busy arranging and discussing on voice coms and when i play il2 so do mates, so i can play with ur guys but id be on voice coms generally discussing clan stuff!

i see..... but... to play at VEF level - you really need your wits about you m8.. fully tuned in to the situation or you're going home in a box tbh... you need to concentrate on getting the right stuff out of your plane rather than next week's timetable....
