    Bomber Squad really IS better than Spit Ace

    Last night was SO MUCH better than any of the Spitfire Ace programs.

    they got SO LOST and it must have dropped on them like a ton of bricks just HOW scary it would have been to fly to Cologne as a TRAINEE to drop bombs.

    and as for bombing....HOW HARD???

    great great show...andNEXT WEEK.....

    Quite liked the programme, but like Spit Ace there is far too much repetition.

    Got to agree, it is better than Spitfire Ace was, but if I hear the chubby bloke say onece more how different the flying is to what he's used to doing , and how he's getting the chance to do things he'd never dream of in his passenger liner, I'm going to slap my telly....

    Why didn't they pad the programme out a bit showing us how the bomb sights work, a bit of theory behind the calculations?

    exactly, and this is Reality TV dressed up as history, or history dressed up as reality tv

    mind you i don't care so long as i get to drool at vintage aeroplanes and wish it was me and not them!

    i thought that spitfire ace was better but only cos of the historical footage, made me play il2 everytime with my big bro...trying to replicate it
