Son on a bit of a whim I splurged and bought BF: Hardline. I haven't read any reviews or played the beta so I was going in pretty much blind, I'm a big BF fan so I thought I'd give it a go.
I've played about 2 hours multiplayer so far some Heist and some Rescue. Heist is a bit like BF's normal conquest mode but not quite. Rescue on the other hand is pretty much CS.
Currently I'm really enjoying it

I'm in two minds about it. When it works well heist is like an awesome game of rush, but its broken at the moment, as soon as you move of the default ticket count it increases the number of packages as well. Fine in principle, but only 2 ever spawn.
The weapon balance is also complete balls.
Team DM spawn deaths are a joke!

In a couple of cases it wouldn't surprise me if the damage model/ accuracy were modelled on a paintball marker

Where did you buy it from Aussie?
It does seem like a lot of fun, I've been watching some streams and having a good time watching it, but of course playing it is another story.
Some maps do look a bit unbalanced though.

I don't know whether any of you Hardline players are using Nvidia GPUs, but Nvidia have released a Hotfix driver to address DirectX related crashes in the game:

Emm,I misread the title as "Just got Hard**" and I was like WTF??
Me neither, it's more of a DLC than an entirely new game. Not worth the full asking price IMO.
I have however pre-ordered GTA V
