Commander's epic mount?

I've just realised i've missed something rather important....

LVL 11 of the ranks gives the person an epic mount? Yet the cost is not 900G but 90G?...

Cost: 90 Gold
Races: Orc, Undead, Tauren, Troll
Level Requirements: Level 40
PvP Requirements: Lieutenant General

And the level requirements are the same as a normal mount?... Someone get the feeling like me that the epic mount may not be epic but standard?..

How can Orcs, Undeads and Trolls ride a Kodo? I thought they stopped that from happening?

Thought you could do this with exalted status?. Either way thats less important than epic mount for 90g

Yeah I saw that while browsing the officer merchants. Seems that the mounts may not be epic - they don't say "This is a fast mount" like the normal epics. Also an epic is only 800g if you're a sergeant or higher don't forget.

Anyone can ride a kodo (any Horde) but Taurens can only ride Kodos, cause they are too fat for anytthing else

They're adding new quests to boost repuation with other factions also so getting a kodo as an orc etc. will become somewhat easier.

Sure, if they can be bother to farm the ~30k rep needed to hit exalted with another faction.
The quest is 50 rep per hand in so that's only 600 repeats.

I'd like to announce I hit lvl40 this morning!!! And I've saved up enough golds and I've got my mount!

BTW, for a warlock, we can do a quest which will give us a spell that is Summon Felsteed, is this another mount?

Go speak to either the warlock trainer in UC, or the one in Orgrimmar, and he gives you a quest to go speak to the chap in Ratchet.. hey presto, free horsey
