    Blackrock - the instance.

    Interesting reading i thought

    Trade Quarter
1 The Masonry This is the path from Blackrock Mountain, down the Molten Span, and to the instance. Here rests Overmaster Pyron, a 52 Elite fire elemental. He has an AE fire attack (Blast Wave). 2 Instance Entrance ---
3 Shadowforge Lock This Lock needs to be used, requiring the Shadowforge Key, to line up the bridge between East and West Garrisons, allowing the group access to the high-level areas. 4 Dark Iron Highway Large groups of Elite mobs here, each group comprised of at least 1 Medic, 1 Officer, and the rest a mix of Guardsmen and Footmen (some groups have 2 Medics).
5 Bael'Gar Bael'Gar is a 57 Elite mountain giant, part of the dragonmolt quest that begins in Searing Gorge. There is a cave to the northwest of Burning Steppes that has a Night Elf in it who wants you to prove yourself to him; if you have the dragonmolt, he alters it and gives you Bael'Gar quest (if not, you have to fight his dragon "pet"). During the fight, Bael'Gar periodically spawns level 50 ooze adds. 6 Ring of Law By moving to the center grate, you trigger the arena event. A random group of mobs (spiders, worms, bats, raptors) spawns, and you have to kill them. After the last one dies, and a small break, a boss mob spawns. Successfully completing this event turns the arena spectators from red to yellow.
7 General Angerforge The General is a 57 Elite Dwarf that hits hard. He is guarded by 4 non-elites. When his health reaches about 25%, he calls out an alarm, which brings a mob of adds, which usually includes a Medic or 2 and the rest are non-elites. A common tactic for this battle is to have the warrior fear the adds when they come, kill the General ASAP, then control and kill the adds. 8 The Manufactory Here rests Golem Lord. He is a 57 Elite Dwarf who has the nifty ability to do an instant 1,100 damage lightning attack on close by players. He is immediately guarded by a 56 Elite blue golem and a 54 Elite red golem. The area leading up to the Golem Lord has 4 Elite golems surrounded by level 55 non-elites. If these are not killed when the Golem Lord is aggroed, he will call them in to help him.
9 The Grim Guzzler The bar has two quest events inside, Hurley Blackbreath and Ribbly Screwspigot, as well as a quest giver. For Hurley, in the keg room are 3 kegs that can be destroyed; when all three are, Hurley and 4 Elites spawn and attack you. For Ribbly, one person talks to him, asking him for his head; this will turn him and his 3 cronies from yellow to red, and you must kill them. The tactic for the Ribbly fight is to have the player initiating to pull them into the keg room. On the upper level of the bar is Phalanx, a 55 Elite golem. To turn him from green to red, you must buy (not steal from the table!) 6 Dark Iron Ale Mugs from the gnome warlock bartender and give them to Rocknot, a dwarf NPC. This will trigger a very amusing event. After this event, there is a chance for a Fire Elemental and 3 Officers to show up in the bar, so beware. 10 The Black Anvil Guarding the Black Anvil is Lord Incendius, a 56 Elite Fire Elemental with a fire area effect. He has a knock back effect, so it is best to pull him into the hallway and have the main tank's back against a wall.
11 Fineous Darkvire Here rests Fineous Darkvire, the Architect. He has the Ironfel quest item on him, which is part of the Shadowforge Key quest you get from the ghost in the Molten Span central building (you can only see him when you're dead). He paths this stretch of hallway. 12 Chamber of Enchantment Here rests Ambassador Flamelash, a 57 Elite Naga that is immune to fire. During this fight, groups of level 30 Fire Elementals spawn.
13 The Mold Foundry Here, there is a chance for Panzor the Invincible, a 57 Elite Golem with very high magic resists, to spawn. The rest of the room is populated by groups consisting of an Elite golem and 2-3 non-elite Mages. 14 Summoner's Tomb By talking to Gloom'rel and coughing up 2 Star Rubies, 10 Truesilver Bars, and 20 Gold Bars, miners can learn how to smelt Dark Iron Ore. By talking to Doom'rel, you initiate an event: the 7 bosses spawn on a timer, and you have to kill them all. Common tactic here is to pull the first boss to where Vile'rel is, as the second boss is a mage and will have to path to the fight. Once she comes, the fight is moved to center. Each mob is killed one by one except Vile'rel, the Priest, who should stay shackled. Doom'rel, the Warlock, spawns 3 Voidwalkers when he wakes up.
15 The Black Forge This is the Black Forge, where Dark Iron is smelt and Smoking Heart of the Mountain can be made. 16 The Lyceum Large groups of level 50 non-elites roam around here; all groups are on 30-60 second respawn timers. The goal here is to, with help of a stealthing Rogue or Druid, find the 2 Flamekeepers. Once the first Torch is looted from the first Flamekeeper, you have 3 minutes to light both torches at the far right end of the room to open the doors there. This area can only be successfully passed with some area of effect spells provided by Mages and/or Warlocks.
17 The Iron Hall Here rests Magmus, a 57 Elite mountain giant that is simply in the way as you progress to the Emperor. 18 The Vault Here is the goal for the Heart of the Mountain quest (can't remember true quest name). To initiate the event here, your group needs a total of 9 Relic Coffer keys. Using these keys, you open all but one of the coffers; main tank opens the last one when group is outside the room. This spawns some elite golems. Killing these opens up the main chest, which has the quest item and an item.
19 F.F.F.'s Statue At the end of this corridor lies the statue you must turn the Ironfel in to to complete the Shadowforge Key quest. Here there also is a chance for Pyromancer Loregrain, a 52 Elite, to spawn. 20 Kharan Mighthammer Here is Kharan Mighthammer, the second part of the Ironforge Princess quest chain that begins in the Ironforge High Seat. Leading up to this location, there is a chance for Lord Roccor, a 51 Elite rock elemental, to spawn.
21 The Imperial Seat Here lies Emperor Dagran Thaurissian, a 59 Elite, and the Ironforge Princess, a 58 Elite. The common tactic here is to kill the Princess quickly, as she is a Priest. The Emperor has the ability to become immune to magic; this happens when he periodically grows in size. Once he shrinks back down, he can be nuked. For the Ironforge Princess quest, reportedly the Princess must not take any damage as you kill the Emperor; successfully doing so will turn her green and you can complete the quest (I think). 22 Ragnaros Instance This leads to the Ragnaros raid instance, which is not yet implemented.

That tactic sucks. You can kill the adds in a couple of AEs with a mage.

Also the ragnaros instance is implemented - that is the entrance to molten core and also the place you have to go for the quest Attunement to the Core.

I think we've been doing this wrong!

We've been killing Plugger, that turns all the people in the bar from yellow to red, not sure if the things listed there do this as well, it doesn't say.
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

If you do the bar as listed above then they all stay yellow.

Been thinking about the golem "Phalanx", i reckon with 5 peepz in there we could get one person to buy the ale and have the other four standing right beside phalanx ready to batter him when he turns ...... wonder if there is a cool item drop, cant get to thot so cant tell i hate WEBSENSE!

Could also use a similar tactic with ribbly, use slarys to initiate the fight, while the four in the keg room use ranged weapons as soon as they turn, at the same time slarys could stealth or pull them into the keg room .

    Maybe....

Ribbly killing doesn't turn the rest hostile. Hurley killing doesn't turn the rest hostile. Killing Plugger does!

Killing Phalanx is almost doable with me and slarys...well it IS doable, just not very easy...need a few armour upgrades!

Phalanx drops nice fists or the Golem Skull cap - lots of people still wear that because its very nice
