    Is this possible?

Ok - have spent a bit of time thinking about Velan as his mighty mining pick.

    Is this possible?

You can change weapons during combat, but cannot change armour. How about having a macro which when you reach 4% health auto switches your axe/sheild/gun with your mining pick/crap shield/no gun

Then when dying your weapon + sheild will not take 10% damage and will reduce the costs of repair (which i know tanks hate)

Could simply have a Crap gear button, and a good gear button.

    Let me know ya thoughts?

Could also be annoying - in one of those one-hit decides it situations where both you and the mob are almost dead the last thing you want is to switch out to a 1 dps weapon.

Button bind would be easy - install stancesets and make a set with your junk weapons then just bind a button to switch to it.

Yeah, or you can just make a simple macro to do it, and put it on your action bar, not worth the effort for about 50s though
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

not so much the 50s saving, but we would have to leave the instance or carry on with a mining pick
