Guys,

Not the ideal place, but you might have a few books or internet sources that could help.

While in croatia, found a war moment play tribute to i'm assuming some sailors who died in 1945 towards the end of the war.

The "boat" was named the NB 11

The problem i have is the moment was only in croatian, no english translation and i'm interested in finding out more, and so far my search has hit no luck.

Either by the class of boat or a specific named one. Why then you say i'm assuming its a boat. Well simply the number of dead appeared to be very large. Unlikely a plane, could be ground troops?, but i doubt it wouldnt have thought it would be named?.

Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

I'm wondering as it was 1945 whether it might have been an accident.

Thats definitely it too, near "Susak" is the small island just off the mainland where the memorial was.

I just keyed in NB 11 and Yugoslavia.

If you try that now, this thread comes top of the list
