Hat or Tumble / FMB experten....

    Chaps

...in the Full Mission Builder , how do you zoom into the full 3D view where you can place objects and rotate them around ? I can zoom down in the satellite view ok, but any objects I place are just icons...

hit the enter button on the keypad, or return, and it swooshes down (seriously, it swooshes ) to 3d mode. You'll only see aircraft if you've specified "stationary" objects - player/AI a/c won't show until you play the mission.

you have to start on the runway if you specify a take off waypoint, which is a pity, cos a "Scamble" Le-Mans style mission would be fun.

On a nother point - if you do airstarts - make sure you set enough height, or the a/c will just hit the floor - remember also that when setting waypoint heights - the a/c will "bob" up and down - how much depends on the type. Don't set TB3's to fly at 50m for example, they'll hit the floor on the low point of their bob.
