    I need a new MMORPG

Have been playing WoW now for almost a year, only a couple of nights a week with 3 RL buddies, we are finding that it's really not enough time to get wha we want out of the game, have got bored before and switched chars and ended up with

    Alliance Warrior 51
    Horde Rogue 42
    Horde Hunter 43

and about 2500 gold. I still really enjoy the game but it's taking 2 weeks to level as only end up playing 4-5 hours per week.

Have played EVE for 8 months before and found it to be a bit of a life stealer as takes so long to get on and SO engrossing, is there a game out there that the 4 of us could play together (maybe that would not majorly disadvantage any of the group that played less than the rest of us) have thought of Guild wars, please any suggestions would be greatfuly received.

I would definately recommend Guild Wars for casual gaming.

You can play it a few hours a week, or all the time and still have as much fun.

Do you know how it compares to WoW in terms of gameplay, have you played both games?

I've never played WoW, but I have played EverQuest and FFXI, obviously it doesn't have the same massive scale of content... But there no need to level grind, farm, or generally spend hours doing nothing much

It's not as complex as WoW for combat, but it's MAMMOTH and you won't get bored for weeks and weeks.

1st month is free. Download game free, and get serial number for £16.99

It's really pretty different to WoW

Guild Wars is good - I think the main draw for me is the lack of a need to spend time on it - it really is fun for as little or as much as you want to play with it. Group stuff gets seriously good fun and it can be very tactical. Of course, the price (or lack of) means it's definately something worth trying out.

I'd go with Guild Wars. No monthly fees and now Factions is out its pretty huge if you get both campaigns. I believe you can get the Prophecies campaign now for a mere £15 and Factions is around £25 so you will get around 250 hours of gameplay on the single player RPG side of things. Then not forgetting you have the PvP to keep things ticking along nicely, good value for money all round.

I done a Guild Wars preview on the boards last year some point and on gaming I done a first 15 mins of Factions.

    Guild Wars Prophecies preview :

    Factions First 15 :

Take a look see and hope to see you in Cantha or Ascalon soon

Grrrr - don't mention Titan Quest to me!

Spent *lots* of hours using version 1.01 (crashes galor!) and then finally patched to 1.08 when they brought it out (finally, no crashes! Well, virtually none...) and spent lots *more* hours ....

Titan Quest = Stealer of hours, devourer of spare time .... damn good fun though!

And I thought it'd be a nice change from Everquest for a couple of weeks - lol!

Looks like (slightly) bad news (Source=GameSpot) ....
No Neverwinter Nights 2 'til October
Atari confirms the long-awaited sequel to the popular D&D-inspired role-playing game has been slightly delayed
Apparently it will be out "late" October ...

my mates trying to get me into neocron 2, its exactly the same as neocron only with some new stuff added. You can buy it from the shops for like 3 quid and its about a fiver a month to play. I've played it and its sorta like Tribes. Its good
