Oh... My... God...

First impressions are it's a smidge buggy, but what a sim.

First thing I checked for which I suggested waaaaaay back when Flanker 2.0 was released. Sonic boom. Go supersonic, do a fly by and you shouldn't hear a thing till the jet flys past.. then there should be a bloody great bang.

They listened!

Only had a bit of a play so far but it's beautiful and runs well considering. 1280x960 with 16x ansio and I get about 40-60fps in cockpit. Externals kill it a bit.

im loving this soo much

still going through the training missions and , as you said, it's very buggy

i seem to be having problems with the sounds at supersonic.........in the F-15 it repeats the loud bang in the cockpit at speed of sound....it may just be the F-15 though - very buggy that. Many a complaint on the forums about the screwed up radar

patch v soon they say though

Any idea where to get a key layout from?

I was hoping that they'd use common sense and port the IL2 common keys, like views, gear, flaps etc.

They are developed by completely different teams & of course the controls in a WW2 prop are a bit different from a supersonic fighter

The controls are more complicated in your I16 tbh....

Problem is the pics don't do it justice. Definately needs some more horsepower though, think the CPU is letting me down now.

Still, 25fps is playable would just be nice to have a bit more.

Jebus. I kinda liked the demo, although got shot down with 5 seconds, but I may well have to torture Santa to add this to the list.

It's awesome. Not for the feint of heart since it's got a learning curve similar to a brick wall, but get over that and it's just fun fun fun.

Oh yes, and when you've shot down your last Mig, saluted his burning wreck and apologised to the local residents, you can always take in the scenery..

..and there was me thinking it woudn't fit
