Cause the cameras you use come way down the list compared to their peers?
Nah, seriously I'm with Bobster. This is of limited use to me - the main failing being it doesn't take resolution into account. It's of some use if you just want to take a look at some stats for your own camera - say where do you get the best compromise between noise and DR on an a900 at higher ISO. It gives you a set of values which you can try to keep in mind when shooting - say try to stick to ISO 1600 and use all of the aperture you've got before going to 3200, or use 400 and a longer shutter speed over 800 at all costs when going for a big print. I wouldn't give it more than a glance when buying or comparing a camera though - digital backs below the D3x & a900 because they're worse at high ISO? Pfft.
An example of why the recent obsession with high iso performance is misleading, although even without that the DXO rankings would put the medium format backs lower than the slrs.
I don't understand the emphasis high iso performance by reviewers recently, unless you regularly use it (weddings, sport) then I'd have thought things like dynamic range are far more useful.
