Last week I spent a morning at Birmingham Airport photographing the flights in the relentless rain. I'm pretty pleased with the spray and crosswind shots I got, but I find myself wanting more. Is it possible to really show the actual rain? I know this probably isn't easy, but I think it would really add something.

I'm using a 450D with a 70-200mm L most of the time. If I feel like I need protection I'll usually wrap a sheet or bag around the camera and feel my way through, although I'd be interested in a more "permanent" solution if there is one; my ghetto set up seems to have worked fairly well so far.
