Why is it that the best sensors/most interesting technologies are found in rubbish bodies?
Sigma have long had some really interesting sensors without the bayer pattern, but their cameras are most unusable compared to the competition. Now Fujifilm have got a great non-standard sensor in the X-Pro1, but again it's a new lens mount and not the best body.
In the mean time all the great bodies and features from the likes of pentax, oly etc. are stuck with tried and tested sensors which suffer comparatively from age old problems of moire or sensor noise etc.
I really want to see what'd happen if you put such interesting sensors in a nice pentax/oly body and stick some good glass in front of them.
