    compact cameras with 18x zoom.

    I saw the Samsung WB150f for sale while I was away and was suitable impressed that for around £140 it had 18x zoom and around 14MP CCD but, I wondered if it is any good as the reviews I read were not that conclusive.

    Anybody got one or used one, Who can give an idea of its performance. I'm not after doing anything special just taking normal everyday photos.

    That sounds like it's in the "Travel Compacts" type. You should probably compare with the Canon sx220/230 from last year, the sx240 and 260 from this year, or the Lumix TZ20/TZ30 ranges. I think this year's models are all a fair bit more expensive that last years...
