    Random video time - Nikon D4 shutter in slo-mo

    Saw this over at giz, I'm surprised by the amount of bounce in the mechanism but then again it's slowed down so much is it an issue?

    Would e good to have a comparison against other cameras from other manufacturers. Not a "which is better" comparison, just to see the difference.

    I don't understand this at all.

    Bounce in the mirror? Why is that bad? The curtains look fine for the speed. Any vibration bounce I don't think was letting light in (also the controller for the sensor might well be switched off).

    In fat for many things a bounce is healthy as the retardation is more gradual.

    Really don't get the issue here.
