I am about to buy a refurbished Corsair PSU from Scan and am wondering if it comes with the standard (and quite exceptional) warranty that your new PSU's do?
Thanks!

You need to ask Scan for their warranty info.
Erm, no, he doesn't. The best people to ask abour Corsair warranties are undoubtedly Corsair.
There's a lot of common confusion about this.
The contract, if buying from Scan, is with Scan, so basic consumer rights would be exercisable against Scan (and perhaps the credit card company if CCA s.75 criteria are met). BUT .... manufacturers can, and Corsair do, offer an additional warranty on top of anything consumer rights provide.
And, for that matter, Scan can offer additional warranty options over and above consumer rights too, and though it's been quite a while since I looked, they used to.
So, for optional retailer warranty, see the retailer.
For consumer rights, see whoever you bought from, usually the retailer.
For manufacturer warranty, see whoever that warranty requires you to see, which may be the manufacturer direct, or it may be an agent specified by the manufacturer, which may or may not be a retailer.
Oh, and answering questions like this is one reason Corsair have this forum, and Corsair staff answer questions
