High end laptop - where to buy?

Funnily enough Rock do a six core Core i7 970 based laptop for around £2100. OTH,I suspect for modelling purposes a faster quad core and the appropriate graphics card might be a better choice.

But are they as good quality as Thinkpads, i was just looking on google and they look very plasticly and bad quality. Sort of like what Clevo turned into

Like I said a fast quad core and an appropriate graphics card might be more suited for a modelling PC. AFAIK,modelling tends to be more lightly threaded and a FireGL or Quadro card is more suitable than a consumer card.

Regarding the build quality,the model I am referring to is the Rock Xtreme 795 which is based on the Clevo X7200 chassis.
