Samsung Series 9... Anyone own one?

    13"? 15"?

I'm in the market for a laptop, will be travelling a bit with work so want something small/light. Not going too fussed about gaming, but looking at Ivybridge rather than Sandybridge... no point buying old tech (ignoring price ).

I've managed to dissuade myself from picking up a Sony Vaio Z (I'd want the 256gb/8gb/i7, and that's £1800), so the toss up is between the 13" (i5, 4Gb [soldered] RAM, 128Gb SSD) and the 15" (same i5, 8Gb [user upgradeable], 128Gb SSD, extra USB3.0)...

There is about a £20 difference in price between them both on Amazon, and I'm really struggling to decide. In any case I'd likely switch out the 128Gb drive for a faster 256Gb one (once mSATA get back in stock at various retailers).

... but the reason of this thread is because I couldnt see one already.. and wanted some feedback from users... anyone with a NP900X3C wished they'd gone for a NP900X4C or vice versa?

... thanks for all the feedback

Went with the NP900X4C in the end, ordered on Sunday, arrived yesterday morning... re-installed Windows (that was an effort, didnt have a 4Gb USB stick lying around, tried a PXE network boot but once I got into WinPE it didnt have the NIC drivers, managed to borrow an external DVD drive off a colleague in the end!)... and so far so good.

It's a bit bigger/heavier than I was expecting, but should fit the bill as a reasonable DTR whilst fitting in my handluggage too and having decent battery life.

Not gone down the RAM/SSD upgrade path, will wait til I get closer to filling the drive, or noticing any slowdowns / performance hiccups that a decent SSD would provide.

If anyone has any questions, wants some pictures, whatever... let me know and I'll do my best to answer

Well, I can say I've got one, upgraded the RAM as the 4gb was a bit stingy!

Can't say anything other than if you need a premium end device, its good, thou the new screen on the asus is probably better.

Ahh, mine's the UK model with 8Gb RAM but only i5/128Gb SSD...

Any tips/tricks? Have you managed to source a case / sleeve for yours?
