Couple of Questions

Hi there, with looking to order in the next few days, just wanted to check a couple of things.

- Do you receive the boxes and ancillary wires/adapters etc for each of the individual components in your?

- I read somewhere that youre not allowed to get a refund once you place your order, is this the case? I realise there would have to be something wrong with it but as an example having bought a custom system elsewhere the other month, after two attempts to fix it, they didnt so I asked and received a refund despite it being custom, I got it. Dont want to be stuck with a system with no end of problems.

- The system i'm looking at, at the moment is the 3XS Vengeance Z77, but noticed that you can only get one specific cooler, and some people seem to have had noise issues with it. Are you not allowed to choose a different cooler?

- In terms of HDD's I was thinking a 260gd ssd for windows and programs, then a couple of 2tb's for files. Need quite a lot of space for my business libraries. But would one 260gb ssd be enough do you think to install your main programs then your games, or would you be constantly tidying it up?

Might have some more but thats all that comes to mind for now

Who is the retailer you are getting this from?

if any of the components fail or are faulty then it is mechanical break down so yes you should either get a replacement or a refund.

i thought, well i can honestly say i have never purchased anything from them, but i have heard great things about SCAN and from what i know about them from other people they offer great customer support. So any problems you have they will do there best to sort it.

You can completely configure the system by selecting from the options on the Configure your Custom PC page. To find this option yourself for any of the systems first go to the 3XS pages, find the system you want to modify, click on the more button and then use the Configure option.

If the alternative part that you want is not available on the page you can ring the sales team and they can look at adding other options, so for coolers on the Vengeance Z77 you only have the default Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro and the Corsair H100 options listed, but if you call them they will be able to quote you for other coolers and confirm that your choice of cooler would fit.

I think it would be better for you to request that this thread gets moved to one of the Scan forums so that one of the Scan staff can answer question regarding warranty and refund information, or if you do ring them to discuss your build you can discuss that then.

Thanks for your help guys but i ordered the computer a while back and been using it for some time. No complaints either, works very well.
