'Small' laptop w/ discrete graphics - just the Clevo/Scan LG5?

I'm looking at 'small' (eg 13" or less) laptops with mid-range discrete graphics cards. I'm a PhD student working with various 3D platforms including Second Life, Minecraft & Unity3D. I have fairly decent desktop machines both in my office (i5 2500, 16GiB RAM, GTX 560, triple monitor) & at home (i5 2500, 16GiB RAM, GTX650, dual monitor) so I'm not looking for a stupendously powerful laptop, just something that I can work on & use for demonstrations when I attend conferences.

The Clevo/Scan LG5 looks promising; with an i5 3230M, 8GB RAM, GT650M & 2 years warranty it comes to £556.49 (I can save £60+ by not buying the Windows license as my department has volume/KMS licensing).

Are there any alternatives with similar spec & price? After the Alienware M11x (which my academic advisor actually owns) was discontinued it seems that the 11" Clevo is the only option?

Hi, I've been looking for something similar recently for work (need something powerful enough to run lab software reliably) and gaming as I'll be moving around a lot in the next 6 months and my desktop died a few days ago.

Ended up buying this the other day as I'm fairly sure there isn't anything else on the market (definitely not since the M11x was discontinued) that ticks the same boxes. If you want I can let you know how it is when it arrives? I bought exactly the same spec as you're looking at.

I've been eyeing up the Asus ZenBook U32VJ-RO014H, not super sleek but looks to be a good balance of power and portability.

I've seen the Alienware M11x on ebay, though it doesn't look to pretty to my eyes.

Scan mentioned before that the new Haswell / 765M Clevo 11/13inchers are coming soon so may be worth waiting for them
