Good!
I'm sick of having to fix Family & Friends laptops, they are almost always Toshiba. Probably because they are very cheap, but the quality of the things is atrocious.
Quite apart from the article being littered with horrendous cliches in an attempt to make a fairly dull story sound dynamic, I'm kinda sad to see Toshy go. Some of the best products I've had over the years were Toshy - from my wife's PDA (that I sat on and shattered the screen ) to my new Click Mini, which is a really nice, stable, well-designed device.
OTOH shifting out of a fairly busy consumer market when consumer PC sales are in decline anyway, and focussing on the B2B side of things which is presumably at least stable, if not growing, makes a lot of sense. be an interesting move to watch (if the article is even vaguely accurate, of course).
anyone else confused what this photo in the article has to do with anything?
