Question Which Battery should I purchase?

    Hi Guys
I would like some assistance please. I'm fixing a laptop for a family friend of ours.
They need a new battery but I am not sure which one to purchase.
The laptop is a Packard Bell TM99-GN-030UK. DC Rating: 19V, 3.42 Amps.
Here is a picture of the back of the laptop if you need more information http://imgur.com/a/lYvW7
Please note I do not have the battery I did ask the owner but they have lost it.

The batteries I have found so far online share the same batteries with Acer machine so I'm abit dubious whether these would work.

So anyone could point me in the right direction that would be really appreciated thanks.

Re: Which Battery should I purchase?

Acer owns a number of brands which includes Packard Bell and I'd expect some level of parts interchangeability between these brands, such as the battery, on the count that certain models between these brands can be similar or even identical bar external appearances.

In other words, don't be put off if the seller advertises compatibility with other brands, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acer_Inc.#Brands

I can't point you to a specific battery, but I would advise finding a genuine OEM/Acer battery or at least shopping from somewhere with a solid returns policy, because I've never bought a 3rd party laptop battery that I've been happy with.

Finally, FYI, that 19V 3.42A rating refers to the charger, not the battery.
