Are prebuilts worth it at the moment?

If you are to buy a pre-built, it absolutely should not be a brand like Dell, for these exact reasons, but that doesn't mean that all pre-builts have this issue.

It depends what you want though. There are plenty of good pre-built Dells that never have the cased opened in their entire life and just give solid service for Word and Excel at reasonable cost.

Oddly I find now more than ever a prebuild quite attractive. Prices haven't risen as much as the individual components so to me it's looking not too bad. I'm still going to hang on until the summer before I seriously think of buying anything.

HP won't even show the diagram of this motherboard (Baker)!!!

Not that it probably matters, but you might find a diagram searching on the motherboard model number as opposed to the system model. But via Google not HPs site.

Nope, it's a newer board and apparently they won't release the diagram yet (lol!).

Hi guys, for more than 10 years I have not bought a computer from the factory, I have assembled them all myself, I think it is the best option to have a good performance, without spending a lot of money.
