    Replacement mid range gaming laptop

    Hi All,
    Costco have just said my son's 18 month old Asus ROG laptop is beyond economical repair so they're giving me a complete refund (which is nice of them). I've got £899 to spend on a new one. Used for:

    School work
    Gaming (mostly TF/Fortnite type stuff)
    Coding (he's doing an Unreal programming course as part of his Duke Of Edinburgh)

    I've found this on the Costco website which looks reasonable:

    Seems reasonable for the price. Anyone know of anything better for a similar price?

    That looks decent for the money IMHO. Try and check if the RAM is dual channel.

    I've bought a Legion 5 (although couldn't get the AMD model at the time).

    Is that price inclusive of VAT? In either case that's amazing value!
    I'm waiting for more QHD monitor options before I get a replacement.
