I did quite a bit of research when I got mine, and the best I could find was this:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/product.aspx?ProductId=39468

It's also on Scan's today only. Yes, it's more than you state, but it has a flat audible noise profile up to 100% load, and is inaudible in my machine, even in the heat of summer after gaming for hours. Gold efficiency too.

Comes with an excellent set of cables etc, all stored in a carry pouch. Only problem (if you're fussy) is that it's white. I actually like the look in my otherwise black case (and let's face it, how often do you look at the back of it anyway)

If I was building another machine, I'd get another no-question.

I can vouch for the Antec True Power in the first reply, recently finished a rig for a friend with that powering it. No coil whine, fan is very quiet. Would buy again.

Re: What is the best Modular PSU 750w £80-90ish??? This is my First Post!

Glad it all helped. Can you look into something for me - How noisy or quiet is it?

Is it inaudible during normal use?
Does it get louder in a hot room under heavy load?

Problem is to answer this you really need to chug it to the max which isn't always easy given modern machines efficiencies, but if you're running a rig with SLI and gaming for hours in a hot room, does the thing stay quiet?

Be interesting to know if the suggestions it gets loud with higher loads are true or not.
