Tony Blair and his congressional medal of honour (or whatever it is...)

I know this was a long time ago, but i watched something on TV that brought this up and it really annoyed.

Why has Tony been given the congressional medal of honour, it is a farse! I believe it is just for publicity. The last Brit to get one was Winston Churchill. I mean how can you even compare what Tony has done to what Winston did in the Second World War.

And with Bush having his state dinner or whatever it was over here really annoyed me.

If they carry on like this the awards will just be worthless, surely!?

I thought that they did not end up giving him the award as it would have been too much like he was getting a "scooby snack" from Bush for being such a good doggy?
