About time.
Tell you what though Jacqui, how about the existing law doesn't remain in place since it has been adjudged to contravene the European Convention on Human Rights?Originally Posted by Home Secretary
Because I thought we were part of the EU. I didn't see the Labour government telling them to sling it when they demanded a reduction in our rebate, after all.
I love the way we only adhere to the will of the EU when it screws over our citizens. When they stand up for us, they are wrong.
I hate Wacky Smith, I am amazed that she ever managed to make the grade of a school teacher, it's bloody incredible to me that she could make Ministerial office. Is she an idiot or is she just plain evil? not sure I see any other options that explain her bizarre stance on important issues like this.
I really hope when we do finally get an election that the people of Reddich boot her right out.
edit : I think the thread title is inappropriate, it implys she might have been right about something at some point.
HEXUS FOLDING TEAM It's EASY
She gets under my skin too... I think more so because I'm an expat (highly skilled, of course). The whole ID card thing, forced community service initiatives, contributing to a "community fund" etc etc proposals coming out of her office make me really uncomfortable. She just radiates incompetency.
Cool I'm going to start breaking laws and keeps doing so, while I carefully consider them.
Seriously though; what part of "The judges said keeping the information "could not be regarded as necessary in a democratic society", doesn't she understand?

But we don't live in a democratic society any more, as this government proves almost daily.
She seems to be having tremendous trouble understanding "no". What chance she'll ever understand "democratic"? She seems to think it means "you do what we tell you and you will like it".
If we wait for her to evolve a second brain cell, keep an eye open for ice-skating demons, because you'll know that hell will have frozen over.
She's a member of that Opus Dei Catholic cult thingy - evil status confirmed?

If they're using that as an argument then they might as well just go the whole way and take DNA samples at birth...The government claims the DNA profile from people who are not convicted may sometimes be linked to later offences, so storing the details on the database is a proportionate response to tackling crime.
It's quite easy to confuse them as they are all from the same batch of Labour cloned drones. They took all the DNA that might lead to any redeeming qualities out while they were all in the tank fully of jelly.
