    How many of you vote?

Apathy to voting is a major problem in developed nations, if we are surviving and have no complaints then we dont bother.

I generally vote when there is anyone good to vote for and it is possible to get to a polling station without too much trouble.

As to this poll, we obviously would only vote in one kind of election.

I vote in all elections, but i do not believe that whoever i vote for will make any difference. People who should have power and the people that will do the best for us are the people that don't want the power but reluctantly take it up. Best example i can think of is Martin Bell (ex BBC news).

Personally i'd like to see the country run as a lean mean company, innovating and doing sensible things, like realising that certain fledgling technologies if money is put behind them could generate significant industries and bring in revenue, investment jobs etc, which can fund more generation, including housing, improved health services etc etc etc.

Just my view but its what i'd like, rather than every 5/10 years the other party come in and reverse all the previous decisions made.

And exactly how many non-voters do you expect to vote in your poll? hmm?

I've never voted - don't see the point unless the BNP was about to get into power (and I mean I'd vote against them!)... Only 2 real runners and both of them - despite the shouting - will do pretty much the same thing IMHO.

I will always vote in whatever elections. People died so we could have the vote. I think its something you would never appreciate until it's gone.

I generally vote if I can, I figure I don't have a right to moan about the government (or council, European parliament etc.) if I didn't vote against them.

I'm with Rave, I like to think I have the right to bitch about the national & local government & their respective policies.

I would have gone for the 'Every Election' option.

I vote in both national and local elections. I'd greatly appreciate it if those of you are non-voters would vote conservative in the up-coming national election. I have 50p on them to win!
