A while back, India was offering free radios to men who got the snip. No pressure or anything.
The UN banned that as being in breach of their human rights. Population control can occur without any suffering. The problem is that the most obvious and practical solution will not be considered. Those that claim benefits get sterilised permanently before being able to claim, regardless of how many children they have. The thickies and spongers as a demographic have far more children per person than any other demographic. Probably because they don't have much else to do other than copulate and watch TV.

I had a chuckle and actually fully agree. Unfortunately it’s highly unlikely (I hold on to some hope) to ever be considered, let alone implemented. People should be able to prove they can afford a child before they’re allowed to have or keep one.

Maybe a one warning policy? Okay, you’ve had one. Prove you can raise it without State assistance or we’ll sterilise you. Oh, you had another while we were assessing you? That’s ok, we’re taking it from you now and sterilising you at the same time. What if someone is sterilised but turn their life around and can now “afford” more? Well, in life that’s called consequences and taking responsibility for your actions.

Interestingly studies in India have shown that the number of children born to a family is related to the education level of the woman, with the higher it getting the lower the number of children they are inclined to have.

So obviously all of these women popping out sprogs at a high rate of knots are slaves to their own biological implulses... I'm surprise they haven't started protesting against them for "holding them down"
If Wisdom is the coordination of "knowledge and experience" and its deliberate use to improve well being then how come "Ignorance is bliss"

Wouldn't be surprised if that applied to many/most countries. The first 10 minutes of the (somewhat bad) movie Idiocracy illustrates this nicely.

That is the general trend however its prevalent in India as areas which have pushed for education of women, such as in Kerala, have included family planning (ie sex ed and financial advice) in the syllabus.
