    i think that all very highly paid celebrities/sportsmen should donote 1 or 2 weeks wages - imagine how much that would be!

    especially premiership footballers - i was wondering how much is the average wage for the premiership footballer? i was guessing at about £30,000

    don't think they would really miss 2 weeks wages and it could raise tens of millions of pounds for people who really need it

    would be alot better than the £1 million which has been pledged and the £100,000 donated by Manchester United

    There is nothing to stop you from making your own PERSONAL donation, i see no reason for the gov to try and match the publics contribution.
