Woman Rapes Man...

Here's a story from Norway where a woman has been convicted of raping a man - 'involuntary' sexual contact.

The whole idea is rather strange, but of course logically speaking it's not impossible that a woman couldn't be convicted of such.

The fact that he knew her seems irrelevant - it's his permission that's the pertinent point.

I'd agree with Rave that it doesn't seem like rape to me, but perhaps that's reflected in the sentencing - only 9 months and a fine.

I wonder if the egaltarian Norway wanted to call it 'rape' for the purpose of advancing their PC egalitarianism? I believe they require various 'Board's' must have exactly 50/50 men and women and other such PC splits.

Norway AFAIK has never been on any kind of a PC crusade- they're not even part of the EU, most of their wealth comes from North Sea oil. Whatever, I have no problem with 50/50 male female splits on importnt comittees.....except for the fact that it reinforces a supposed difference between men and women.
