"When science and the Bible differ, science has obviously misinterpreted its data."

    Edit:

"Just like what Nazi Germany did to the Jews, so liberal America is now doing to the evangelical Christians. It's no different...More terrible than anything suffered by any minority in history."

    Good link, cheers.

Thats charming that is. What a foolish irrational thing to say.

    The mind boggles frankly.

Indeed, perhaps an interesting social experiment would be to put all these like-minded individuals on an island, and film their magical, wondrous society.

I just can't believe that three of them are or have been president of the last remaining super power.

As long as they never get to impose there pointless uninformed opinyons on any ones its fine. I mean at the end of the day your intiled to freedom of speech IMO, the worst you can do in retaliation is disagree.

A interesing social experiment it would be indeed headbrace, i think a more interesting experence would be to see them stand up infront of someone who they have judged look them in the eye and say it.

Well they couldn't look Christ in the eye cos they'd have already stuck him on a cross.

John Ashcroft is a firm believer in The Rapture.

According to this theory, believers in the near future will suddenly disappear from Earth in the "twinkling of an eye."

Christian circles this is known as a pre-trib doctrine, because the rapture rescues the faithful from Earth before the tribulation, rather than after (known as post-trib), as some other Christians believe. The resurrection of the dead will occur at the same time.
"All our beliefs are being challenged now, and rightfully so, they're stupid." - Bill Hicks

Its minority people like that who make Christains look like fools, some of them however were quoted out of context.

Who cares if he believes in the Rapture? Its when people start believing that their religion (and more annoyingly also my religion) teaches that 'God hates fags' and anyone who has anything to do with them that it gets to me.

Amen. Anyone can hijack the name of a faith and claim divine authority for their own prejudices; that doesn't mean that all, or indeed the majority of the faith's adherents feel that way.

"The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism, and become lesbians."
