FT - cause I go outside to smoke at work, and it's the paper that we have on reception. I've actually grown to like it a lot though. Has loads more insight into what actually goes on in the world, and the reasons behind some of it.

Can't stand the Sun/Mirror - they're just populist reaction - no real idea there, it's anything for sensation. 28 pages is too much for the story "Child murder convicted" (Yes I know he's an evil ... who deserves to be locked up forever, but did it need that much?). They also love there stories that start "[insert famous person] [insert leud sexual act/illegal thing here]" and finally end admitting that they have no proof whatsoever.

(edit - why do I always notice spelling mistakes after posting?)
Now go away before I taunt you a second time.

well I would say the guardian, but I havent bought it for a while. one of the lads brings the sun into work and I do love reading it.

why do I love reading it?

well because its a rag, they talk carp and it makes me chuckle, the only thing that depresses me is the fact they get paid for it

Sun, and the times (my dad buys it good for news) in general however i feel papers to be pretty much full of useless crap that only contributes to peoples idiocy.

Mostly the Indepandent, a good read over tea n toast, or the Times for a change (& the crossword). The mrs gets the Mail on a Sat/Sunday.
But I hav to say the BBC website is for me the best overall, but can eat up a lot of time if I'm not careful.

Apologies, I am not very well up on my Scottish papers. The Scotsman, right? Any others let me know and I will add them to the poll.

Grauniad, 6 days a week when I'm at home, try and grab a copy whenever I can at uni just to see how much David Aaronovitch can annoy me by his bit in G2. Would probably read the Times if it wasn't Murdoch owned, as guardian occasionally has horribly predictable left wing crap (crap because it's crap, not because it's left wing) in it which is just embarassing.

i read the guardian tho it's editorial fence sitting erked me durin the iraq war so i bought the independent for a while, basically cos of Robert Fisk and Edward Said (may he rest in peace), tho to be honest they arent exactly critical enough for me, i wish Pravda was still Stalinist (jokin) then i might buy it , the Telegraph is a Tory rag and the Times is a establishment mouthpiece thru out history.

Student rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish ( i hate the socialist rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishs party) only comes out once a week, and Class War has ceased so i tend to use the internet more.

I generally buy the scotsman and mail.

I read teh mail on the bus, as there isn't enough troom to read a broadsheet, and i read the scotsman in one of my boring lectures.
