Got everything today and starting on the build. Everything was going well, I was actually quite enjoying it again

Then I ran into a small problem, my new MB does not support IDE :O How long has IDE been obsolete, if it is? No biggie really, I ordered a new drive and that will be here tomorrow. Just a shame as it's all sat there built and I'm waiting to get stuck in and see if everything is working ok.

Quite funny that the only bit from my old system I wanted to use was the DVD drive

Never really been one for tidying up all the cables, so it's not going to be anything to impressive. I'll take a couple after I get the new drive tomorrow.

I did take one earlier though, to text to my brother, as I could not believe the size of the heatsink I was slightly worried it was not going to fit in my case.
