Old PC damaged and died - need help with new PC Spec!

Which is the same price as the M4 you recommended above. Any ideas what is better in the '2' version over the '1'?

That seems to have a $40 off promo code you can apply too,so AFAIK both versions will cost the same!!

The difference is in the height - one is 7MM high and the other 9.5MM high.

Quick update: I went over to Micro Centre and managed to get a great deal!! I went for the following set up:

• i5-3570K, $ 190
• Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H (opened box, and $50 off for getting it with the CPU too!), $94
• Corsair 2 x 4GB XMS3 1600 DDR3, $50 (with $20 mail-in rebate)
• Crucial M4 256GB SSD, $180 (with $20 mail-in rebate)

So after the rebates, it came in at $474 (+tax) which is great!!

I'll need to get at better graphics and DVD / Blu ray too, but I'm in no hurry at the moment, so will keep my eyes open for something. I'll probably go with an AMD as its possible to mix and match models, unlike the nVidias.
