Have you any old parts like a PCI-E graphics card or can borrow one for a few months??

What kinda games will you be running and at what graphics level.

£80 to £100 should get you decent card for casual gaming.

If you are using the IGP,Trinity would be a great choice, but since you are going to get a graphics card. Is it possible to find out if it is a PCI-E one as a stop gap?? The FX6300 looks a nice allround CPU,but hardly any decent AM3+ motherboards have an IGP. Are you going to overclock the CPU??

    Re: New Christmas Build

Would it be worth getting some faster rated ram to improve IGP performance in the mean-time?

The dual graphics only work with an HD6670 and under and still a HD7770 would be faster. The thing is the FX6300 would be a good CPU for to get with a discrete card. Only think there are not any 900 series motherboarsd with an IGP. Hence,I was asking if you had a PCI-E graphics card you could borrow for short period until you get a new graphics card.

The FX6300 that CAT mentions would be a decent choice.

I like your choice of case, I'm going for the Fractal R4 because I love the way it looks. I did look into the 3000 though and it looked okay.
