Hmm does that work for other drives too or just Crucial?

Wish I'd snapped up that 840 Pro from Amazon, the price has shot right back up now

If you ignore the numbers regarding speeds, the M4 will be equally as good for a day to day drive and its cheaper than the Samsung. Personally i think this is a better deal anyway! I have ordered one for my PC

    Re: Planning ahead for Haswell

Haswells are for like Ultrabooks... I would keep the Haswell CPU aside first until we all can get a solid benchmark/review of the 4th Generation Haswells, the SSD, in my opinion, the Samsung 840, not the pro because it is more expensive and just a tad bit faster, the PSU is down on what you're running in your PC. I would still stick with the Ivy Bridge... the Motherboard I'd suggest is the ASUS MAXIMUS V GENE because it is CrossFireX and SLI ready like almost or all MoBos or the ASUS MAXIMUS V EXTREME. Good choice on the RAM! How about your HDD? WD or Seagate will do you just fine.
Both cases are great! The case comes down on what MoBo you choose.
