    First PC :) Please help.

Hey guys, I'm going to build my very first PC and I'm very unsure what to buy. I do have my desired specs.

    Desired Specifications;

CPU; i5 3570 [I will not get the 4th Generation CPUs]
GPU; GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost
    Motherboard; ASUS MAXIMUS V GENE
    HDD; 2TB SeaGate Barracuda
    Optical Drive; LG 24x
RAM; Kingston DDR3 HyperX Blu (8x2 16GB) RAM
Case; Cooler Master HAF 912 Combat Mid Tower/Cooler Master HAF 912 Advanced Mid Tower/K380
    PSU; Corsair GS600 (Couldn't find a GS500)
    KB; Logitech G105
    Mouse; Corsair Vengeance M95 Laser
    Monitor; Samsung S20B300B 20" LED Monitor 5ms

Help me out on the case especially and whether the MoBo fits the case.
My budget is 1500 SGD (1200 USD).
I could get the K version of the CPU but I don't overclock, since the MoBo are for overclockers, I might overclock so help me out here! Thanks in advance to all.

    What's your PC for?

If I was buying; I would:-

o Get less ram (16gb is an awful lot; you might need it though!).
o Buy a cheaper mobo (for about 1/2 the price).
o Get a half decent cpu cooler (would be quieter).
o Have an in depth look at PSUs here http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page541.htm and find an excellent model. The one you've listed is made by CWT (mine is too) and reviewed here; you may be able to come up with a better model like a seasonic for less.
o Put a bit more on the GPU and monitor. Maybe try and fit a 660 or 7870 in there. get a 1920x1080 at the least (22 or 24 inch).
o Get an SSD; a decent 64gb or preferably bigger.

I have no idea on buying things from Singapore! If you're buying online what site are you using?

Bizgram.com.sg. Would a 660 Ti do any justice or should I get the 660?

Re: First PC :) Please help.

They seem to only have the GB models. Its a 50% increase in price from the non-Ti ($309) to a Ti ($459). Its a 10% boost in performance. I would go for the non-Ti but I never spend enough to buy a 660 let alone a 660 Ti.

The 650 boost ($275) to 660 ($309) is about 10% increase in price for 11% performance boost.

The only 7870 is $388 for 660 performance its not really worth it.

Do you get game codes with the cards?

EDIT: I'm using a comparison from here http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/M...Gaming/26.html

Dude! Thanks a lot! The whole thing is cheaper than those pre built 'gaming' rigs which are very unreliable.. For 1634SGD. It's a bargain. Thanks dude!

If the GTX 760 is true to all the hype, i would go for that or the GTX 770.
