    Re: gaming computer

Using my pc in my bedroom , limited space , but i can place it far enough away , the idea behind it is to get rid of the TV and monitor and have both in one.. save space wich i dont have much

Yes the quality is bad of the soundblaster , i uninstalled the soundblaster software that came with the board and just use the realtek HD audio manager now.. the soundblaster software could not be configured right for my 5.1 speaker system , leaving 2 boxes right and the rest soft or not at all sound.. i can't get it right and tried for weeks.

As SSD i right now have an Intel 160 GB ( SSD2A2M160G2GC ) wich is an older SSD , i thought it was an 128 , but i was wrong it's an 160Gb
I use only 54GB of the 149 (149Gb is after format left from 160) wich only is allowed for the OS and program files , not meant for games.

It will be used for gaming & browsing and watching video from my pc , basicaly for everything , and there comes the problem... not ever HD TV is right for gaming and if they are they may not be good for browsing due to font problem on large screens.
i expect no problems with watching videos.
Wich is why i wonder if anyone has experience with it.

i have 2x8 gb .. 4 slots.. so no problem adding 2x8 more , i realy didnt have questions about that

i will look into the sound and soundproblems i have with this new board and decide to first replace my 5.1 speaker system , then i can always replace the soundcard when needed.

ok no worried about the Msata then.. i have 8 sata connections on board from wich 2x6gb , so unless an Msata has some very good advantages , i guess it may not be a good idea to place one.
Also i have never used crucial parts , i will have to look into reader reviews and experiences , i am a bit old school - bad experiences = never buy again , i swear by western digital for instance , but they don't make SSD as far as i know lol
I've only ever used my TV with a HTPC, not really for browsing for word-processing etc. If you're having problems reading text, I know Windows includes high-contrast colour schemes which are designed to help people with visual impairments, & the scaling options can help a lot too. The problem with text scaling is that not all third party software supports it very well, which is a problem some people are having with 4K monitors.

You could test your on-board sound with just a pair of good quality headphones - hopefully you'll be able to judge whether it's the audio system or your speakers (or possibly your amplifier) that's the problem?.

Crucial SSDs have a good reputation for reliability & value, even though they're often not the fastest on paper. I'd have no qualms about putting one in my system.

To add, crucial/micron have been making memory (what ssds are) for years - Intel's flash for SSDs is made in partnership with them as well.
